Sports Premium Funding
At St Rose's Catholic Infant's School we use the PE and Sport Premium funding to provide high-quality physical education opportunities for all children.
The funding helps us to keep children active, engaged and enthusiastic about sport and physical activity from an early age. We use the funding to enhance PE lessons, provide additional sporting experiences, purchase equipment and offer opportunities for children to take part in a variety of sports and active play activities. We are committed to helping children develop a lifelong love of being active while improving their physical health, confidence and teamwork skills.
A key part of our funding is also used to upskill teachers through specialist coaching and professional development, ensuring that staff have the knowledge and confidence to deliver high-quality PE lessons. By working alongside sports professionals, we continually improve our provision so that all children can enjoy, succeed and thrive in physical activity and sport.
